Our second men's gathering of 2026 sees us back at back at the warm and homely Sourton Village Hall, perched on the very edge of Dartmoor.
As usual, we'll take a deep dive into what it means to be our true selves as a man in the UK. and share what we've learnt and realised on our journeys in this life.
We'll share inspiration for the easy stuff and compassion for difficult stuff.
The afternoon will include:
-
A discussion on ‘How to free ourselves and our brother men from the manosphere’ There's zero expectation that men say anything - you are welcome to come along and just listen
-
Shared lunch (please bring food to share)
-
A wander up onto the Moor - bring warm, waterproof clothing and footwear, as needed
-
Time to socialise and connect
-
Refreshments
We ask for an £8 donation towards venue hire. There’s no need to book - just come along :)

Exploring Inner Life Work
Inner life work refers to the practice of exploring and integrating one's thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and subconscious patterns to promote healing, growth, and personal development. It involves understanding and addressing the parts of oneself that may have been ignored or suppressed, leading to a more aligned and purposeful existence. This work is essential for achieving psychological wholeness.

This special Summer Solstice Dawn Pilgrimage on northeast Dartmoor with Kate and Paul will give us an opportunity to experience the magic of the Moor during its transformation from the shortest night to the longest day of the year, arriving at magnificent Kestor Rock with its fine views for the sunrise. We'll then move on to sublime Scorhill Stone Circle for a Ceremony of Light led by Paul.

In our experience, Scorhill stone circle has a beautiful, peaceful and gently healing energy. It sits directly on the Michael-Mary ley line that traverses southern England from just south of Lands End to just south of Great Yarmouth on the east coast, via famous natural power places, such as Glastonbury Tor, Avebury and Devon's own Brentor.
We can't think of anywhere more fitting for welcoming in the day of maximum light.
We'll then finish with a shared breakfast before walking back to Gidleigh.

Self~Nature Connection.. Hound Tor to Haytor Rocks circular (4.7 miles)
with Kate & Paul
A RELAXED BLEND OF GUIDED WALKING (SOCIAL AND SILENT MINDFUL) AND TAKING TIME TO STOP, ENJOY QI GONG AND/OR WILD SWIM/DIP OPTIONS IN BEAUTIFUL SETTINGS, BE AND CONNECT WITH OURSELVES AND THE LIFE ALL AROUND US
This is a stunningly beautiful walk that Chris and Paul last led in in June 2024. Hound Tor and Haytor Rocks are two iconic tors. This is a pilgrimage between them - for us this is Dartmoor at its most dramatic - also taking in the equally awesome Greater Rocks, wooded Becka Brook and long silent Haytor Quarry.

Here's a testimonial from Sylvia for our Lustleigh Cleave Self~Nature Connection on 4th May last year....
"Dear Paul and Kate,
Here's a big Thank you to you both and the lovely group of people sharing the day with me. Lustleigh Cleave in May is one of the most beautiful spots with seemingly never ending carpets of bluebells in ancient woods.

Sitting on the rocky remainders of an ancient settlement in this enchanted place to be treated to a guided meditation introduced and completed by the sound of Kate's ocarina, rounding off the vision.

Taking in the breathtaking view from the Harton Chest ("heart on chest") rocky outcrop view point, connecting with the rocks whilst listening to a wise tale about the rock beings.

Swimming in the ice cold river- how invigorating, mindful and focussing! Enjoying a reading of moving poetry by one soul warrior and other soul warriors carrying a 'wood dragon' all the way back to the meeting point for a fellow soul warrior.
A wonderfully mindful journey through- and connection with- this enchanted landscape, being able to just be- brilliantly facilitated by Paul and Kate.
Namasté, Sylvia
